30

Edward had told one of his co-workers that it was my 30th Birthday yesterday and she responded with a concerned, "How is she dealing with that?"

That totally cracked me up when I heard it. Turning 30 felt the same as turning 29. It's like when your hair grows. It happens so slowly it feels like it's always been the same length. But recently I have been running into random people talking about how horrible it was when they turned thirty. Like as if they were mummifying right before your eyes.

Anyway, I think that I wont be bothered until 80. That's getting a bit old. But then again maybe I'll be part of a smashing bingo club and too busy to know the difference.

HA.That is hilarious. Happy belated birthday my dear Meridth. I think you're ace and I'm sure I'll think the same even when you're 80.

Mer! I didn't even know it was your birthday! Happy 30! My big 3-0wasn't hard, it was just strange. I realized I wasn't "in my twenties" anymore, and that took a little adjustment. That was it. I'm glad (and not surprised) that you have such a healthy attitude about the whole thing. Love ya!

I'll be joining the club in no time too. You guys always beat me to those clubs . . . I think my wife will have a harder time being married to the old guy than I will with being one.

Happy belated birthday! Age is a state of mind, not a number. And if you can still pass for a 17 year old on the bus, you have nothing to worry about :) Although a pregnant 17 year old may raise a few eye brows, but probably not many in this day and age. K, now I'm rambling...

Ancient? Since when? That's when most people graduate from college!

p.s. I like your almost green dress. Very girly!

I loved 20 so much that I was sad it was over. I knew that life was going to be different after 30. But it's also good. I work in a world of grown ups and people in their 20s are perceived to be children. That makes 30s a good decade.

That's true. It does seem almost official that I'm grown up. And most times that's a good thing. ;)

Amen to that, i'm turning 30 this year and am actually excited to be out of my 20's. Does this mean i'm growing up? I don't know. You look adorable in your pregnancy outfits!!
