Okay... so Jimmy Buffet is totally cheesy... but I couldn't help myself. I still can believe that we live in this paradisiacal location.
So as some of you know this is the most chaotic/ ridiculous move ever. I wasn't technically suppose to get a house when I did (no official permission slips if you will) but I couldn't stand being apart from Edward another minute so I came up here like gangbusters. Decided I was going to find a house last Sunday. Came up on Monday. Found a house Tuesday. Drove the 8 1/2 hours back down to San Diego. Packed the remaining bits and bobs up. Drove up on Friday. All and all it's been an exhausting week and a half. Anyway, we still have stuff in storage in Utah and this time we need to go through all the insane procedures to make sure the military pays for this cuz it's going to be expensive!
So for a while we were sleeping on an air mattress that let out all the air in 3 hours on a very hard wood floor. We found a $60 couch on Craigslist and we'll share that until our stuff comes from Utah. Se la Vi! I think life will be a little less hectic and a little more orderly when we get a little more settled.
I'll start posting more regularly when things are a little less insane. I can't wait to get my ducks in a row.
Anyway, I'm excited to live in this beautiful place and I'm excited to be living near the infamous Jenn... Yippie!
