To Bed or not to bed

Edward and I would like to say that one of the things that we are most looking forward to after this next move is a comfy bed to sleep in.

Random Gimbel facts:

Years 1-3 years of marriage we slept on a mattress on a floor.
Year 4, in England, we shared a bed that was a little bit bigger than a twin size and that unfortunately had bed bugs.
Year 5, while staying with my parents, we had a "normal" bed.
Year 6, back to the mattress on the floor.
Year 7, being that I was pregnant I found a box-spring and frame on craigslist.
Year 8, transient and in Texas we are sleeping on an air mattress that has consequently sprung a leak, and have therefore moved to the floor.

Hallelujah, we are almost done with this bed nonsense. Why the lame sleeping circumstances you ask? Lots of schooling + lots of student loan bills + regular bills+ fancy computers = no comfy beds.

Glad that period is OVER.

ps. If any of you are familiar with this infamous bed, you and I are the bestest of best friends.

Isn't that the Bed of Ware....something? While not my color taste, I'm sure it would be an improvement over a deflated air mattress. Good luck!! :)

Oh man you guys. You need to get yourselves a quality bed + mattress. It will CHANGE your lives!

I've been sleeping on the king-size version of this for the past three years:

Also, it is amazing how much a memory foam mattress topper enhances the sleeping experience.

Airie - I have always liked you, always. And this is a confirmation of your coolness. I always loved this infamous bed. The fact that it fits 11 people (or 3 Henry the VIIIs) is kinda incredible.

Tim- I am very jealous of that bed. We're certainly going to look into it. Hooray for heavenly sleeping. And strange friends named Tim.
